New research from the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health shows that even brief delays to the infant Hepatitis B birth dose could lead to thousands of preventable infections, hundreds of additional cancer cases and deaths, and more than $200M in excess healthcare costs each year.

First-year teacher and PSU alumna Keaton Belbas, M.Ed. ’25, is bringing compassion, high expectations, and a student-centered approach to her role as Creekside Community High School’s sole health and PE teacher. Her focus on wellness, belonging, and real-world learning is helping students feel seen, supported, and empowered.

PSU’s College of the Arts is expanding access to live performances by offering $5 tickets to SNAP recipients through the Arts for All program. The initiative reflects the College’s mission to make the arts welcoming and affordable, with discounted admission now available for selected concerts, exhibitions and theater events.
